To register for ABRF 2009, please use the online registration form.
Participants are encouraged to register early. The registration form (on-line or fax) should be completed before December 15, 2008 to receive the lowest registration rate. After this date, participants may continue to register on-line or by fax, but at the advance/on-site rates.
On-site registration at the Memphis Convention Center begins on Saturday, February 7, at 12:00 noon.
The registration fee for ABRF members, nonmembers and students includes entrance to all scientific sessions, exhibits, opening reception, daily continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, closing social and briefcase that will contain the program and abstracts.
When applying for ABRF membership at the same time as registering for the ABRF meeting, the membership application must be completed and accompany the meeting registration form.
The student registration fee includes complimentary student membership in the ABRF at no additional cost. To obtain this complimentary student membership, the membership application must be completed and accompany the meeting registration form. Students must have their department head sign the registration form in order to qualify for the reduced fee. Students also must show a currently valid student I.D. on-site at the start of the meeting in order to receive the special student rate.
Guest registration will be only available on-site. The fee for guests (exclusively for spouses and other nonscientist family members) includes entrance to the exhibits, opening reception, daily continental breakfast and coffee breaks. Guest tickets for the Closing Social also can be purchased on-site.
Five Satellite Educational Workshops will be offered on Saturday, February 7, 2008. Registration for the main conference is a requirement for registration to a Satellite Workshop. There is an additional registration fee for Satellite Workshops. To view the workshop descriptions, click here.
Press badges will be issued at the registration desk only to members of the working press and freelance writers bearing a letter of assignment from an editor. Representatives from allied fields (public relations, public information, public affairs, etc.) must pay the non-member fee.

Registration fees and tickets will be refunded, if a written cancellation request is received by January 5, 2009. There will be a $35 processing fee for any registration cancellation. Fax refund/cancellation requests can be made by phone at (202) 331-0111 or by e-mail at abrf@courtesyassoc.com. A Satellite Workshop will be held only if there is a reasonable number of attendees registered for that workshop by December 15, 2008. In the event that a Satellite Workshop is cancelled, any registration fees paid will be fully refunded.
