The Hartwell Center for Bioinformatics & Biotechnology at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital integrates of biotechnology, bioinformatics and computing resources to provide state-of-the-art tools for biomedical discovery.  Core services include genome sequencing (Roche 454 FLX and Illumina GA), DNA sequencing and genotyping (capillary electrophoresis), Macromolecular Synthesis (peptide and oligonucleotide), functional genomics (cDNA microarrays), Clinical Application Core Technology (Affymetrix arrays), Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry (protein identification, peptide modification analysis), Molecular Interaction Analysis (surface plasmon resonance, analytical ultracentrifugation and static light scattering), and Research Informatics (bioinformatics and computing resources).

The Molecular Resource Center (MRC) is one of the University of Tennessee's Centers of Excellence.  The MRC has a wide range of molecular, biochemical and immunological resources in its core laboratories at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
